Mineral wool is manufactured from a blend of natural rocks, selected blast furnace slag/waste materials and coke, which melted at temperature above 1500 degree Celsius. The molten mixture flowing from melting furnace, then through spinning machine-rapid centrifugal spinning wheels, is drawn out to from a fiber. Meanwhile, some additives, binder, and oil are added in the process. Over curing oven, the fibers go forwards to shape the end products such as blankets, boards and others as well. In the form of these, thickness and density are controlled for assuring utmost insulation value.
It can be made into mineral wool board, blanket, pipe and lamella etc.
